Wisconsin Ecology has begun work on redesigning our website to better accommodate our needs. We are seeking an organized and web-savvy student to assist us in this effort. This individual will be responsible for implementing our new website design and loading new content. S/he will also be involved with members of the Executive Committee in the redesign process. Wisconsin Ecology is still determining the format under which the new website will be designed, but we intend to use a content management system.
Desired Qualifications:
* Our ideal candidate would be a student in a computer science program or with significant IT experience
* Prior experience with HTML4/XHTML/CSS development, server or client side scripting, and content management systems
* Knowledge of good web design practices and various web development platforms
* Efficient organization and time-management skills
Hours and Compensation: $15/hour; 4-5 hours/week for approx. 20 weeks
