Description:
CORPSMET is a MS-DOS based CSDGM metadata creation tool with an interface similar to that of CORPSCON, the coordinate conversion program by the same agency (does someone know what this look is called?) It provides the user with information about each element as it is being entered, has pick-lists for restricted domain items, and allows the user to read in ASCII data from existing files for elements such as abstracts and summaries.
Cost: none
Notable Plus: -
Notable Minus:
Once any section of metadata has been completed, it cannot be edited or added to without starting over. Primarily outputs those elements which are data entry elements. As a result of the missing intermediate elements, cns has trouble effectively preprocessing a Corpsmet output file for mp.
