The 2004 Maps and America lecture, held in Milwaukee each spring since 1990, will be given by David Rumsey on the evening of March 30. His talk is titled New Uses for Old Maps: How the Internet and GIS are Changing the Face of Historical Cartography.
The lecture will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the American Geographical Society Library at UW-Milwaukee. A 5:00 reception precedes the lecture. For details see the AGS Library events web page (link below.)
