A major step toward a 2010 Wisconsin Regional Orthoimagery Consortium (WROC) project takes place on May 15th in Stevens Point. Two finalists in the quality-based selection process will deliver 45-minute public presentations on their qualifications for the project.
The two finalists are Woolpert, and a combined team of Ayres Associates and Aerometric.
After the morning presentations and a short question and answer period, each consultant will be interviewed by the final selection committee during a closed-door session. Following the interviews the consultants will be dismissed and the selection committee will meet for a final vote.
After the final selection is made and announced, the selected consultant will immediately begin work with the WROC organizers to begin negotiations on the direction, project specifications, cost, and design for the 2010 project.
Anyone interested in attending the workshop is asked to RSVP to Andrew Jennings prior to the 15th.
