The American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) Western Great Lakes Region is hosting a luncheon event at the Sheboygan County Memorial Airport on Friday June 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Dr. Terry Keating from Aerometric will discuss high accuracy mapping from a helicopter platform, while Ryan Suemnicht, also from Aerometric, will present on a project they have to map Road America. Dr. Mamadou Coulibaly from UW-Oshkosh will also be on hand to talk about flood mapping in Fond du Lac. After lunch, the group will tour the Aviation Heritage Center, and the Aerometric hangar. One or more aircraft from the Aerometric fleet may be available for a “behind the scenes” tour if project work doesn’t take them out of the area. (Sorry to disappoint you aviation buffs, but I’m told there will be no rides!)
Registration costs $15 for ASPRS members, $20 for non-members, and $10 for students. Advance registration by June 14th is required.
