The Western and Eastern Great Lakes regions of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) are once again teaming up for their annual joint technical meeting in Houghton, MI on the Michigan Tech campus. The main event is on Friday September 20th, with optional tours scheduled for the morning of Saturday September 21st. A student chapter meeting is scheduled for the evening of September 19th.
The annual meeting will highlight Unmanned Aerial Systems remote sensing applications for emergency response presented by Igor Kostryukov and Evgeniy Stovolosov with Moscow State University. They will be presenting LIVE from Russia! In addition to talks on accuracy assessment, object-oriented applications, and student remote sensing projects, there will be a tour of the new Great Lakes Research Center by Guy Meadows.
Registration for the events costs $30 for ASPRS members, or $35 for non-members. Student members of ASPRS may attend for FREE.
