Abstract: As part of the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin’s (PSCW’s) LinkWISCONSIN effort, development is currently underway on behalf of the State Cartographer’s office and the Department of Administration for achieving statewide address and parcel layers. With $168,000 in federal funding awarded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, these statewide layers will be conflated from local address and parcel data. Final deliverables will serve a role in enhancing the PSCW’s geocoding and analysis capabilities for existing broadband data. Your participation and ideas are important to us and we hope you can tune in.
During this webinar, the State Cartographer’s Office will provide an overview of the project, implementation details and how you can participate. The timeline for data collection will also be presented and the SCO will answer your questions about the LinkWISCONSIN EBM Parcel Mapping project.
Themes of the project include objectives of developing a sustainable and repeatable data model and facilitating better data-sharing between Wisconsin counties and state agencies. Development within this project has direct influence on future statewide projects.
See you there!
