This year, GIS Day will feature two keynote speakers, six presentations, and exhibits demonstrating GIS applications and geospatial technologies. The event will be held from 9am – 4pm on Wednesday, November 19th at Union South in the Varsity Hall meeting room on the second floor.
The theme this year is “Geospatial: A Growing Profession Supporting Wisconsin’s Communities and Traditions.” The event is free and open to the public. Please register so that we can keep you up-to-date on activities.
We are encouraging exhibitors (including university departments, government agencies, private businesses, an non-profit organizations) to join us in this educational effort. If you are interested in exhibiting please refer to the exhibitor’s section on the Web site.
