Dr. Ken Bradbury has been named as the new State Geologist and Director of the Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey (WGNHS). He begins his new role on September 1.
He will replace Dr. James Robertson, who retired earlier this year.
According to the WGNHS website:
“Ken began at the Survey as a hydrogeologist in 1982 and has served the organization in a variety of different capacities. Since 2013 he has been the Assistant Director for Science at the Survey….As the Director and State Geologist, Ken will provide overall leadership, direction and coordination for planning, implementation and evaluation of the Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey programs.
