Earlier today, Mike Friis, WLIP Program Manager at the Department of Administration (DOA), announced that the DOA Secretary has appointed the members of the Wisconsin Land Information Council (WLIC).
As dicussed in an earlier Mapping Bulletin article, the Council will advise the DOA on the Parcel Initiative and other matters relating to the WLIP.
The first WLIC meeting will take place at the WLIA Fall Regional Meeting in Oshkosh on October 30th. Geographic Information Officer Jim Giglierano will serve as the non-voting secretary to the council.
The council is made up of twelve appointees, who were all endorsed by their respective organizations:
