The American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) Western Great Lakes region (WGL) is looking to fill three openings on their Board of Directors in an upcoming election.
I’ve had the opportunity to serve on the WGL Board for the past six years as Treasurer. I decided it’s time to step aside and give somebody else a crack at the job! In all seriousness though, I found that getting involved in ASPRS was a great way to connect with other people in the WGL region (Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, Upper Michigan, Minnesota, and Indiana) who are involved in remote sensing, photogrammetry, and LiDAR. WGL is a regional division of ASPRS, and conducts educational seminars, field trips to interesting locations, social events, and helps promote remote sensing, photogrammetry, and other related technologies in the region.
Open positions include President-Elect, Treasurer, and Secretary. You must be a member of ASPRS to be elegible. Visit the ASPRS-WGL Web site for more information.
