The 2024 UW-Madison Geospatial Summit will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, from 10 am to 3:30 pm, at the Gordon Dining and Event Center – Symphony Room, 770 W Dayton St, Madison.

The agenda includes a 10 am keynote by Amy Kind, University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health (“Advancing Precision Medicine via Social Exposome Geography”).
The keynote will be followed at 11 am with presentations by Eric Compas, UW–Whitewater Department of Geography (“Using WICCI Downscaled Climate Modeling Data for Local and Regional Planning”), Sue Swanson, Wisconsin State Geologist (“Mapping and Geospatial Analysis at the Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey”), and Danielle Tanzer, UW–Madison Arboretum (“Geospatial Data at the UW–Madison Arboretum”).
Starting at 1:15 there will be a Career Panel with Blake Draper (Supervisory Geographer and WIM Development Team Lead, US Geological Survey Middleton – Web Informatics and Mapping), Tobin McGilligan (Project Manager, CARTO), Caroline Rose (Cartographer & GIS Specialist, Wisconsin Geological and Natural History Survey), and Mousa Diabat (Technical Expert in Hydrology and Thermography, NV5).
