Episode two of the “Geospatial Revolution” series is now available online via YouTube and Vimeo. Produced by Penn State Public Television with support from numerous sponsors, the Geospatial Revolution Project is “an integrated public service media and outreach initiative about the world of digital mapping and how it is changing the way we think, behave, and interact.”
The first video in the series introduces geospatial information technologies to a lay audience, while this second video focuses on three case studies: creating an “interactive city” in Portland, OR; UPS and how they use geospatial tech to operate more efficiently, and the Food Trust’s work to identify high priority areas for community grocery stores in Philadelphia.
