GIS Day 2016 at UW-Milwaukee is coming up on Wednesday, November 16th.
The UWM GIS Council has again planned a full day of activities on campus that showcase Milwaukee-area GIS projects and resources. All sessions are free, but registration is appreciated and will open in about a week. Go to[uwm.edu/gisday]uwm.edu/gisday. Activities include concurrent hands-on workshops, presentations by area GIS professionals, a luncheon with featured speaker Matt Richardson, Smartwave Consulting “The End of the Static Map”, and a Map Gallery displaying numerous GIS projects by UWM and area GIS professionals. With your involvement, the UWM GIS Council expects this event to be highly successful and as well-attended as last year. We hope you can participate.
The event is happening at the American Geographical Society Library, Golda Meir Library, 3rd floor East Wing, University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee.
