Starting Salary: $25.76

The full-time Land Information Specialist will improve and maintain the GIS for Taylor County. Duties include: develop and produce computerized maps, perform and direct all geographic data entry. May assist County Surveyor with field work, research, archive survey records and work with the public, Land Information Committee and County departments.
Applicants must possess Associate Degree and two years of work experience in the field of computers, mapping, surveying or a related field. A preferred applicant will have a Bachelor’s Degree in surveying, cartography, geographic/land information systems or a related field.
