Our growing team is seeking a UAS Coordinator in our Eau Claire, Madison, Green Bay, or Waukesha WI office. This is an ideal position for a qualified candidate with two to five years of experience with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The position will be responsible for routine project coordination on logistical matters, equipment maintenance, and training.
On any given day, you’ll:
- Be the Chief Remote Pilot, supervising the training of new pilots to maintain consistent standards throughout the program
- Assist with developing workflows, maintenance schedules and procedures, and training materials and standards
- Develop, implement and document an integrated safety program
- Assist UAS Program Manager occasionally with vetting project feasibility, scoping and estimates
- Maintain UAS fleet and support equipment
- Facilitate logistics on project mobilizations including shipping logistics, hardware/software technical support, and file management
- UAS flights for testing purposes and occasional data acquisition; up to 25% travel requirement, ranging from overnight to week-long mobilizations
Required Qualifications:
- Part 107 certification
- At least two-five years of practical UAS experience on a variety of project types and UAS platforms from multiple manufacturers
- Expertise with (or ability to rapidly learn) all Ayres’ UAS platforms to support field crews, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and perform routine and unscheduled maintenance
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Strong communicator (oral and written)
- Proactive, responsive, flexible and demonstrates solid time management skills
- Ability to use GPS to set aerial control and base station points

- Survey
- 360 tour creation
- HD Scan processing
- Basic CAD production
- GIS editing
