The Office of Emergency Communications (OEC) in the Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs (DMA) has announced that the application period is open for eligible county land information offices to apply for grants under the competitive FY25 GIS Grant Program for NextGen9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) implementation.
A total of $6 million has been allocated for the program this year. Eligible costs include new GIS staff working 100% on NG9-1-1, data development, contracts for NG9-1-1 data, and training. Full details and eligibility criteria are given in the grant announcement.
Applications are due by August 15, 2024.
