Details
Support functions include providing technical advice and support to professional and technical staff to help them understand and apply GIS/GPS technologies, mapping applications, ESRI software, and spatial data capture/use methodologies. Duties also include providing consulting advice, coordinating and facilitating with staff, and preparing documentation and training materials.Requirements
Solid background in GIS concepts and technology. Substantial experience with ESRI Arcview, versions 3.2. Written communications skills important. Ability to communicate complex, technical information to non-technical staff. Excellent presentation skills. Experience with Arcview 8.1 helpful. Experience with GPS technology helpful. Requires travel to other sites within the Southeast Region.Other
