The East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission is currently offering one GIS internship opportunity for this upcoming summer. East Central is a seeking student majoring in Geography, Geographical Information Systems, or a closely related field to assist GIS staff with projects for three Long Range Transportation/Land Use Plans (Fox Cities, Oshkosh, and Fond du Lac), two Transportation Improvement Programs (Fox Cities/Oshkosh and Fond du Lac), corridor studies, and other GIS related projects. Job duties include GIS, data collection, creation of map layouts, printing and folding maps, document production and binding, mail outs, etc. Knowledge of GIS (ArcGIS, ArcMap, and ArcView) is required.
