Data Engineer

TrafficCast, Inc. in Madison, WI, has an opening for data engineer. Applicant must have two-year college degree with experience in data processing using Microsoft Excel with advanced functions. Candidate should also have basic programming skills in Java/C++ and database knowledge. Main responsibilities include preparing, conducting and documenting map matching and translation in GIS environment, performing traffic data analysis, interpretation, entry and geolocation in GIS environment to support application development, working with data engineering team for procedure documents and operation training as well as with software engineering team for tools development of data analysis. Must have good communication and written skills.
