Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in stereocompilation using analytical and/or softcopy systems. Practical knowledge of Microstation based software packages, Windows 95/98/NT, KDMS and/or AUTOCAD platforms a plus. Analytical triangulation background helpful, but not required.
Responsibilities:
Applies knowledge of cartographic principles, aerial photography, ground control, analytical triangulation, digital mapping and editing procedures toward the compilation of digital maps. Is familiar with operation of analytical stereo plotting instrument. Knowledge of digital orthophotographic work stations beneficial. Occasionally may be assigned responsibility for technical information management for projects. Communicates with clients and staff regarding technical requirements and issues to ensure consistent results.
