The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT) is currently recruiting for corporate Geographic Information Systems (GIS) development and support. The two positions we seek to fill will be located in Madison WI, at the Hill Farms State Transportation Building, within the Bureau of Information Technology Services, Application Development and Support Section, Geographic Information Systems Unit.
These positions will provide our enterprise clients with leadership and expertise in GIS areas of data analysis, process development, product support, troubleshooting, application development, implementation and documentation. These positions often interact with several different project stakeholders. Maintaining positive relationships with individuals and groups is a critical part of the position.
Ideal candidates will have strong experience in multiform GIS, and be proficient in the use of 9.x ESRI software projects, including ArcGIS, ArcIMS, ArcGIS Server, and SDE GeoDatabases within an Oracle RDBMS.
