GIS Contractor

Proxix Solutions Inc, is a leader in the geocoding, taxation and spatial hazard arenas. Proxix is looking for GIS Contractors to work in its Madison, WI office. The GIS Contractors will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and digitizing pedestrian and public transit data in a number of major cities within the US. The Contractors will also be traveling to the cities to field verify the digitized data using supplied GPS units. All travel will be paid for by the client.

The current contract term begins October 2nd and ends November 30th. There is a strong possibility that an additional contract will be in place by November 30th which will give the candidates the opportunity to continue similar GIS work with Proxix through full time permanent positions.

We are currently only seeking individuals who have experience with ESRI�s ArcMap software and can work full time during regular business hours (some travel will run over weekends).
