GIS Web Administrator

Position Description:
ADC is seeking a highly motivated individual for a GIS Web Administrator position. The successful candidate will have the qualifications and skills to rapidly integrate into our team of GIS Programmers, Software Engineers, and GIS Program Managers in order to maintain and further develop custom GIS web applications. The candidate must be proficient in the implementation of ArcIMS, and be familiar with ArcGIS, SQL, and web page development techniques. This position calls for excellent customer service skills, as well as working closely with our web software engineers to implement and maintain cutting-edge web customizations for ArcIMS and ArcGIS server. We are seeking an ambitious individual with a strong desire to learn new technologies and the ability to perform basic programming duties within HTML, ArcXML, JavaScript, and CSS. ADC is a full-service GIS firm that provides high quality GIS consulting services to our customers. ADC provides a wide range of GIS services from custom web and desktop GIS applications to needs assessments and data development. With customers in local and federal government as well as a wide variety of clients in private industry across the US, ADC employees have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects and with cutting edge technology. While ADC has been continually expanding since 1996, we have been experiencing rapid growth for the past two years and are looking for key individuals to join our company.

Qualifications:
3+ years of ESRI ArcIMS experience
2+ years of ESRI ArcGIS experience
2+ years of web page development (HTML, ArcXML, JavaScript, CSS)
Experience integrating databases with GIS Strong analysis and problem solving skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills Must be able to demonstrate experience
U.S. Citizen or person with valid U.S. Work Visa who has lived in the U.S. for three or more years. The successful applicant must be able to pass a background check to meet the federal government requirements for federal contractors.
