This position will serve as a lead GIS and data coordinator for the Wisconsin/FEMA Floodplain Map Modernization Initiative. The Floodplain GIS Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that spatial and engineering floodplain and planimetric data are obtained, organized, and maintained throughout the state. The position works closely with FEMA tools and standards to ensure WDNR floodplain-mapping data and processes are adhering to FEMA guidelines and specifications. The position will be responsible for producing floodplain maps according to specific FEMA standards.
