This position is located within the UW-Madison Division of Information Technology (DoIT), Applications Development and Integration (ADI) Department, Public Health Information Network Applications (PHIN) Group.
The focus of the person in this position will be to assist in the analysis of data accumulated within PHIN and presentation of that data to local and state public health users of the system. A large part of this position will be devoted to maintaining and enhancing secure, responsive, and up-to-date development and production environments.
The person in this position will play a role in the maintenance, development and enhancement of application systems employing the use of complex, emerging technology. The person will need to understand the technical architecture, database objects, and functional aspects of the system.
Typical duties include: analysis and coding, customer interactions, system administration. Currently the products to be used and administered are SAS, SAS Enterprise Business Intelligence server, ArcGIS server, and ArcSDE.
