Due to company growth, we find ourselves in need of an energetic, computer savvy individual who can work independently. This exciting new opportunity will be part-time with flexible hours. Key Duties and Responsibilites:
Technical design and production of ADC WorldMap digital atlas products.
Data, custom order and inventory production (conversion of raw data, translation of data to various platforms, clean-up and quality control).
Work closely with the ADCi team to meet strategic guidelines for products.
Identify market and product design opportunities, and determine priorities of product development.
Work closely with Director of Marketing on product documentation and promotional materials containing technical documentation.
Learn fundamentals used in selected platforms to adapt the ADC WorldMap product to meet customer needs.
Research and pursue new and alternative data sources.
Maintain understanding of GIS industry and competition.
Skills Required and Developed:
Knowledge of GIS techniques and development environments.
Knowledge of database principles.
Project management skills: ability to plan projects and meet goals while working independently.
Organization skills: ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time.
Ability to communicate and work closely with other members of the ADCi team.
Ability to learn quickly and works independently.
