Ayres Associates, a consulting engineering firm with 18 offices in eight states, is currently seeking to fill a Project Manager position in the Photogrammetry department of our Madison, Wisconsin office.

Qualifications:Qualified candidates will have at minimum an undergraduate degree in geography, cartography, photogrammetry, or a related discipline. A minimum of 4 years of experience in photogrammetry, digital mapping, and geographic information systems is required. A minimum of two years of experience in project management, client maintenance, and project development is also required. Certified Photogrammetrist, ASPRS or licensure as a Florida Surveyor and Mapper is desired but not required. Strong business development skills will be essential, as the successful applicant will have substantial responsibility for developing and managing projects across the United States. This position prefers location in Madison, WI, however office location may be negotiable.

Responsibilities:Responsible for completing assigned projects on schedule and within budget through the efficient use of assigned staff in conformance with established corporate policy and procedures. Will develop client contacts and promote new projects. Assists Manager/Vice President in the development and preparation of cost estimates and written project proposals. Attends selection interviews and participates in presentation of company qualifications. Prepares contract documents for review by Manager or Vice President. As a technical expert, determines major design decisions and provides technical guidance on problems and projects. Confirms that the quality of the work being performed by project team members conforms to the agreed upon quality standards, and ensures that such standards are rigorously enforced. Reviews completed projects for technical adequacy, compliance to design standards and criteria and conformance to contract requirements.
