We are currently recruiting for a Programmer Analyst in our Information Technology Services GIS Application Development area. We will also accept applications for an Associate level or a Senior level position. This position can be located at our offices in Green Bay, WI or Chicago, IL. In this role you will be responsible for analyzing moderately complex business problems and deriving multiple solutions for our Business Partners to choose. You will have detailed insight to design and implement most of our business partner choices by either coding and testing an application or installing a purchased package and developing interfaces to other existing systems with little guidance.

The successful candidate will possess strong programming skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong time management skills, the ability to interact with the IT and business partner teams, and the ability to work independently on assignments. At least six months of VB.Net experience is required, while the following technical skills are preferred: ESRI GIS – ArcSDE, ArcGIS, ArcMap, ArcView, FME, VBScript, SQL Server Database SQL, IBM WebSphere MQ, XML, ASP.Net, and Gatekeeper Systems NaviGate. Additional technical skills including Smallworld GIS – Magik, Smallworld Internet Application Server, Java, JavaScript, NMT FAAR, Intergraph InService, Crystal Enterprise, Visio, MS Access, MS Excel, and MS Project would also be beneficial.

Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field. The successful candidate will possess strong programming skills, with a minimum of 6 months programming in VB.net required. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong time management skills, the ability to interact with the IT and business partner teams, and the ability to work independently on assignments is also necessary.
