Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelors Degree or Higher Must have at least 1 year of experience with formal GIS education and/or certification. Candidate must also have excellent communication skills, familiarity and experience with current GIS software and extensions, ability to create and manipulate spatial data layers, produce maps, analyze data and create reports. Familarity with GPS data collection, CAD, database (Access, SQL, Oracle, etc.), 3D GIS and specific GIS Management.
Job Description:
Responsible for spatial data layer creation and conversion, data analysis and map production. Familiarity with GPS data collection, CAD, database, 3D GIS and specific GIS project management. This position is highly technical in nature and requires a candidate with existing knowledge and skills in order to perform tasks efficiently. Responsibilities will include: .Working efficiently without supervision .Creative geospatial problem solving .Coordination / development of geospatial solutions .Development of report documents and possible presentations .Client Interaction The potential for field work exists with proper background / training.
