Job Description:
The City of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, located along the shoreline of the great Lake Michigan is seeking to fill the position of Geographic Information System (GIS) Technician. This position is responsible for coordination, maintenance and expansion of the City’s GIS system. Qualifications include an Associate Degree in Urban Planning, Engineering, Computer Science, Geography or equivalent working experience. Experience with ESRI’s ArcGIS (ArcInfo, ArcView, ArcIMS ArcGIS Server), Arc Macro language, Microstation or AutoCad, Oracle, Access and dBase.
