An $800,000 request by the Wisconsin Dept. of Military Affairs to partially support a statewide orthoimagery project was not funded, despite scoring highly during the review process.

The process to identify members of the interim Wisconsin Geographic Information Coordination Council (WIGICC) is nearly complete, with 14 of the 15 members now named. The first council meeting is scheduled for September 23rd in Madison, followed by a “Network” meeting on October 28th in Appleton.
