GIS Analyst

Municipal GIS Partners, Inc. (MGP) is seeking to strengthen our team and is looking to hire a GIS Analyst. In this role you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring client outcomes
• Maximizing client program value
• Engaging in creating clarity that maximizes team performance and our culture

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and team members
• Mine for opportunities to share ideas and solutions with clients and peers
• Communicate effectively and timely with clients and team members
• Deliver quality projects on time and within scope
• Create and manage data with a high degree of accuracy
• Discover and document project criteria with clarity

Qualifications and Skills:

• Undergraduate degree required in Public Administration, Geography, GIS, Data Science, or related field or experience
• 3+ years of professional work experience; Master’s degree may be applied to experience.
• Background in local government preferred but not required
• Experience establishing and maintaining data quality and governance
• Strong communication, quantitative and analytical skills
• Proven track record with consulting clients to successful outcomes
• Proficiency in relational database and visualization solutions
• GIS experience preferred
• Candidate available for daily commute to the northwest suburbs of Chicago
