Enterprise GIS Specialist

Job Description:
Cloudpoint Geospatial is looking for a qualified GIS professional to join our team as an Enterprise GIS Specialist. We are a service-oriented company providing high-quality GIS services throughout the Midwest. As an aligned Esri Business Partner we work exclusively with the Esri platform. This position involves utilizing geospatial skills to solve problems for clients and staff members of the Cloudpoint team. The primary focus will involve engaging
with fellow technical team members, and clients to share expertise, experience, and provide knowledge transfer of geospatial concepts. An ideal candidate will be well-rounded with the ArcGIS platform including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Enterprise environments. This position may occasionally require work to be completed at a client’s location with the intention of knowledge transfer to client staff. Excellent communication skills are required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Understanding of Esri best practices such as ArcGIS Enterprise, publishing services, data management, data sharing
• Experience managing ArcGIS Enterprise deployments and applications for local governments and other clients
• Troubleshooting and technical support for GIS users
• Experience with GIS data analysis and geospatial concepts
• Creating, editing, publishing, and analyzing data with ArcGIS Pro

Preferred Experience:

• 3+ years of experience with Esri software creating maps, performing spatial analysis, and configuring web applications
• Knowledge and understanding of Esri software system requirements such as hardware, storage, security, networking, web services, virtualization, and cloud computing
• Knowledge and understanding of cloud computing concepts and environments
• Experience automating routine processes related to ArcGIS Enterprise management and data maintenance
• Experience working in local government, utilities, or asset management
• Experience with programming languages such as Python and Javascript and Esri’s Arcade expression language

Anticipated Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000 commensurate with experience
