GIS Analyst I

We are currently seeking a GIS Analyst out of our Waukesha office.  Assists Staff and GIS Team Leader in application of principles, methods, and techniques of GIS and civil engineering technology by performing the following duties. Opportunity for advancement within the organization.  This individual would assist in discovering and communicating geographic trends to our customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Proficient with data creation, processing, and geoprocessing methods.
• Uses techniques to edit, extract, locate, load, analyze, and share geographic data.
• Proficient with Esri software, including ArcGIS Pro.
• Working knowledge of ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise administration and deployment.
• Proficient in Esri web application solution design and implementation (Dashboards, Web App Builder, Experience Builder, Story Maps).
• Proficient in Esri mobile solution design and implementation (Field Maps, Survey123).
• Creates maps and reports to fulfill project needs.
• Possess technical expertise to maintain desktop and networked groups and datasets.
• Understands principles of county data, map and feature services, image catalogs, dictionaries and metadata.
• Cartography, map composition, features, and layer themes.
• Good understanding of engineering and surveying principles and practices.
• Ability to investigate, diagnose and analyze system failures to solve problems quickly.
• Follow team, and firm standards and policies.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships.
• Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet established deadlines.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret documents such as legal descriptions, as-built utility drawings, mapping and other complex graphical subject matter.
• Designs applications to automate GIS tasks and integrate new technologies into existing environments
