IS/GIS Project Manager

“As a Project Leader you will focus on:

• Pro-active leadership of spatially based information systems development projects.
• Resource, risk and deliverables management.
• IS/GIS iterative design, development, and implementation methodologies.
• Customer relationship management. Work plan development.

As a qualified candidate you will possess the following skills and experience:

• Minimum 3 years IS/GIS project leadership in progressively expanding roles
• Verifiable experience managing multiple IS/GIS projects, project tasks, resources and schedule using MS Project
• Proven experience with project management methodology and the development and deployment of Enterprise Project Management systems
• Managing project financials
• Knowledge of spatially based systems concepts and technologies
• Ambitious, self-motivated, self-managed, and results-oriented
• Strong communication skills, proficient and comfortable with development and delivery of team and client presentations, and highly organized
• Minimum Bachelor of Science or Arts degree, Masters degree preferred
• PMP Certification highly desirable

Additional valuable skills include:

• Rational Unified Process and Rational product suite
• Process Improvement Best Practices
• Strong familiarity with ESRI and other GIS software solutions such as, Intergraph GeoMedia, Bentley Microstation, and AutoDesk AutoCad
