“As a Systems Analyst, you will focus on:
- Design and development of Enterprise GIS for transportation organizations
- Gathering customer business requirements and creating formal requirements documentation
- Design and development of logical and physical system designs
- Development using any one of: COM (VB/.NET), JSQL, EJB, XML, ASP
- Creating technical documentation related to systems design and development
As a qualified candidate, you will possess the following skills and experience:
- Minimum three years applied experience with formal IS/GIS design and implementation methodologies and related tools
- Minimum three years experience in full lifecycle systems design/implementation for transaction and/or decision support systems
- Proven applied experience designing and deploying relational database technologies, specifically Oracle
- Proven applied experience with ESRI ArcGIS including Geodatabases and ArcSDE
- Ambitious, self-motivated, and results-oriented
- Minimum Bachelor of Science degree, Masters degree preferred
Additional valuable skills include:
- Work experience with other RDBMS such as SQL Server, DB2, or Sybase
- Familiarity with other GIS software solutions such as Intergraph GeoMedia, and Bentley Microstation, AutoDesk AutoCad
- Domain expertise in the government transportation industry
