“”Candidates with 0-5 years experience will be considered. Minimum qualifications include Bachelor or Associate degree in Geography, GIS, Surveying, Computer Science, or a related discipline OR HS diploma and experience in digital map production. Applicants with training or experience in production photogrammetry, GIS, DTM/DEM development, survey, or digital imagery production and with experience in Microstation, AutoCAD, or ESRI software environments are preferred & will be considered more qualified. Position will include digital terrain and feature collection using softcopy and analytical photogrammetric techniques, CAD editing, digital orthophotography production, and development of topographic mapping products. Applicants selected must be U.S. citizens and will be subject to a government security investigation and must be able to obtain a security clearance for U.S. government projects. Physical requirements directly associated with essential job functions include eyesight/vision capability to accurately see and distinguish relative elevations of features in stereoscopic (3D) images on a specially equipped monitor (this is common when normal depth perception and functional eyesight in both eyes exist).
