Job Duties:
- Endangered/threatened species counts, tracking
- Species habitat checks, follow-ups
- Water sample collections, deliveries, record keeping
- Equipment preps and maintenance
- Data recording, managing, work summaries
- GIS/mapping project
- Others as needed
Knowledge and Skills Required:
(Specific work routines will be taught to the successful candidate)
- Understanding of ecological systems and/or wild species
- Ability to recognize Wisconsin agricultural crops
- Map reading, navigating skills, GIS training
- Flexibility in time and space
- Computer skills
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
