Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a degree in photogrammetry, geography, cartography, GIS or a related field; five years of experience in digital mapping; and two years of project management. A thorough knowledge of mapping practices and standards in photogrammetry and GIS systems is required. Good technical writing skills and public speaking experience a plus. Demonstrated business development skills and knowledge of the national market required.
Responsibilities: The Photogrammetry/GIS Project Manager is responsible for developing and managing photogrammetry/GIS projects with municipal, county, state, and federal governments as well as private sector clients nationwide. Duties will include client contact and development, proposal preparation, assisting the Manager of Photogrammetry in developing project plans and budgets, and managing multiple projects.
