IS/GIS System Architect

This position provides the opportunity to take a system architect role in enterprise GIS/IS projects. The position will primarily focus on supporting the firm’s local, regional, and state government client base pursuing enterprise class GIS/IS implementations and business systems integration. Technical leadership skills are critical, as the position needs to guide the overall technical vision and integration of custom and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) components. The ability to understand and design systems to meet client requirements and to convey and facilitate that vision to GeoAnalytics staff, subcontractors, and client staff is essential. The successful candidate should have strong information systems knowledge and experience including a minimum of 3-4 years designing enterprise systems. Hands-on experience with spatial technologies such as ESRI’s ArcGIS technology is a strong benefit.
