The position will be responsible for developing new business by direct consultative and technical sales efforts. This position will take a lead role in pursuing new sales opportunities by focusing on that segment of our government client base engaging in enterprise level GIS/IS systems implementation and business systems integration. The individual will provide comprehensive coverage to meet corporate marketing objectives and manage any or all of the Business Development essentials generally, such as generating and pursuing customer leads; initial and subsequent customer calls; attending conferences and trade shows; presentations; proposal and contract development; and maintaining relationships with our existing client-partners. The successful candidate will have experience in local government operations and will bring excellent presentation, technical and communication skills to the sales and marketing team. The position will require frequent daytime and overnight travel in the region. Compensation is a base salary commensurate with experience plus commission on sales.
