The Department of Natural Resources is seeking a highly qualified individual to provide business process services to the Bureau of Watershed Management, Madison.
Duties: Provide overall project management of all federal grants requiring extensive IT based management and serve as the program liaison to support development and production of new digital flood maps for Wisconsin communities.Ensure compliance with FEMA’s new automated floodplain map modernization process through appropriate management of existing and new databases by serving as the custodian/steward of relevant information. Manage budgets and develop appropriate systems to allow for automation of all aspects of map production and reporting. Identify and ensure appropriate methodologies are used with DNR’s existing ARCIMS and other GIS based architecture if necessary. Develop long and short-range automation plans for the Bureau consistent with the Watershed Bureau business program objectives.
