The National Park Service (NPS) Midwest Region GIS Technical Support Center and UW-Madison Forest Ecology & Management Department seeks a qualified candidate to support geospatial needs of NPS units and programs in the Midwest region. The 50% project assistantship (PA) would start on or about October 1, 2005 and run for the full calendar year. The half-time rate beginning Fall 2005 is $14,855 per annum. There is the possibility — dependent on continued funding — of support for additional years based on candidate’s performance.
