Job Description
The Fire Management Program of the National Park Service is updating the Wildland Fire Management Information (WFMI) national database with geospatially corrected legacy fire occurrence location data. The National Park Service (NPS) Midwest Region GIS Technical Support Center and UW-Madison Forest Ecology & Management Department seeks a qualified candidate to assist with proper data entry of Midwest Region information. This individual with also help support other geospatial needs of the Fire Management Program for parks in the Midwest region. The part-time student hourly position would start on or about October 1, 2005 and run for the full academic year.
