This position will function as the primary central office consultant for the department’s land use and computer tools educational program. This position will work with UW-Extension agents and specialists, educational consultants, university personnel, other governmental agencies and department staff to design curricula and prepare educational materials. The position will be responsible for designing and carrying out an educational program focused on “computer tools for planning, conservation, and environmental protection, “as well as general land conservation and land use principles and concepts.
Knowledge Required: Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of and experience with geographic information systems (GIS), planning support systems, or related computer technologies.
Experience using Internet-based tools required.
