MAJOR DUTIES: Reviews permit applications in the initial processing phase of applications for work in Waters of the U.S. including most wetlands. Determines whether an application is new, revised, or a request for extension of time. Uses a Geographical Information System (GIS) and a variety of navigation charts, topographic maps, and drawings, etc. to collect project information. Enters data into the Corps data management software, known as the Ombil Regulatory Module (ORM) data base. Assigns and maintains records of appropriate file numbers and prepares applications received, status of permit/applications, enforcements and compliance actions. Routinely checks files to alert responsible personnel to the timely disposition of regulatory matters. Coordinates timekeeping with District Office. Greets all office visitors. Maintains all files in accordance with Army Record Information Management System (ARIMS) Filing System. Maintains time and attendance.
