The WI Department of Transportation, Division of Business Management, Bureau of Information Technology Services (BITS), a leading state government information technology provider, is looking for several quality people to join our team. We are seeking talented IS professionals who desire a position with a dynamic, creative organization and the opportunity to excel in a large multi-platform environment. Active development efforts require web/Java, client-server, GIS and mainframe skills from entry level to project leadership. These positions are located at the Hill Farms State Building on the west side of Madison WI.

Job Duties
Professional level: Entry-level application and systems development positions that are responsible for the planning, development, implementation, upgrade and support software applications.
Senior level: Full performance duties that support the overall development, implementation, testing and maintenance of applications. Position types include application analysts, application designers, application developers, software programmers, software quality assurance staff, project managers/leaders, software tool specialists, software package technical experts, and GIS applications specialists.
Specialist level: Advanced level duties related to supporting all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle, which includes development, implementation, testing and maintenance of information systems. The majority of work is related to analyses and design of applications and maintenance of existing applications.
