Community Planner

The Bay-Lake Regional Planning Commission is seeking applicants for the position of Community Planner. Qualifications include: a Bachelor’s degree in planning or related field, a Master’s degree is preferred; and two years of relevant experience. A minimum of two years of local government planning experience to include land use planning, zoning ordinance and subdivision ordinance development, and grant writing and administration. Knowledge of word-processing, database and spreadsheets required. Experience with GIS programs preferred. Successful candidate should be able to demonstrate their ability to conduct public meetings and to give public presentations.
