Work on enterprise-scale utility GIS implementation for gas and electric utility projects. Candidates must have extensive knowledge of the ESRI project line, preferably including ArcInfo, ArcGIS, ArcEditor, ArcIMS and ArcSDE. Additional programming skills associated with web based GIS development would be a plus. A strong understanding of client server technology, server architecture and network protocol and standards is needed. Deep familiarity with end-to-end implementation methodology as well as EAI and traditional integration with other utility T&D applications i.e., Work Management, Outage Management, Distribution planning, etc. Degree and minimum 5 years experience including work with electric and/or gas utilities is required. This person will design detail configurations to suppport the transmission and distribution functions of an electric utility as well as hands-on ArcFM design configuration,. In addition, working with ESRI ArcGIS Data Model prinicples for gas utilizes to include landbase, gas distribution, etc.
